Pandemic Recovery

A four week workshop to help us move forward. We’ll take a look at the effects the pandemic has had on us, physically, mentally, and emotionally, and then learn some tools and strategies to help us better handle the stresses of life with more wisdom and clarity.

Intro to Mindfulness

A four week workshop introducing mindfulness and meditation. Learn simple yet effective ways to increase your self-awareness, cultivate greater calm, balance and enhance your ability to live more fully in the present moment. Experience a range of formal and informal practices and how to incorporate them into daily life.

MBSR

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

MBSR is an evidence-based program based on the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn and the University of Massachusetts Medical Centre. This course will provide guided instruction in mindfulness meditation practices, gentle yoga, group dialogue, and mindful communication exercises to increase present moment awareness in everyday life, helping you transform your response to stress. In MBSR, participants learn to recognize habitual, unhelpful reactions to difficulty and learn instead to bring an interested, accepting, and non-judgmental attitude to all experiences, including difficult sensations, emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.

This 8-week program is offered in the Fall, Winter, and Spring.
